We’re planting seeds for the spring season!

As the weather fluctuates throughout February, seed starting has begun in the basement of the UTC office in preparation for spring planting.   Annie, Ryan, and Quenzell planted out many flats last week with seeds of collards, kale, lettuces, and many varieties of herbs and flowers including calendula and marigolds.  Already we can see some sprouting!

The flats will be grown under lights and careful supervision until the seedlings are ready to be planted at the Farm and the other gardens
